• Shoes . At the simple sight of a pair of shoes, one can detect the taste and the social origin of their owner. Like the tweed jackets and smoking suits, the shoes are but more distinguished if they are old.
  Moccasins : A pair of black, a pair of chestnut, a pair of Bordeaux (Weston, Alden). Moccasins with a loop on the side and the moccasins with support (Gucci) have their followers.

• Shoes : Black "sport" pair (Weston), a fine pair (Weston, Church). A pair of "sport" chestnut (Weston with large soles) and a "fine" pair of chestnut (Weston, Church).

Boots : Inherited the "riding" style with thin straps preferably (Weston or store of horsemanship).
Docksides : Borrowed from the "preppy" look. Good to go to the beach in summer or to go sailing.
Tennis : Out of white leather with a minimum of colors and marks.
Jogging : Nike or TBS ( ).

Boots : For the countryside or hunting, out of green rubber kaki or chestnut, preferably leather doubled (Deblond).
Varnished shoes : To go with smoking or the dress. Simple moccasins without loop and node.
Slippers : Charentaises or Damart, rather out of dark leather.

• Pullovers . The base set of pullovers is the collar V in lambswool. Colors: navy blue, pale blue, yellow, sharp red, Bordeaux, bottle green, grey, etc. (Benetton). The must : the same cashmere model ! The crew-neck sweater pullovers are reserved for the week-end or the countryside: lambswool, the Shetland, true Brittain marine pullovers (with a buttoned shoulder on the left), Irish pullovers (out of wool of an unbleached colour exclusively) or pullovers of the English army (kaki or navy-blue) with empiècements of coarse linen like all the alternatives with Jacquard. The cardigan with two pockets goes in the evening at home or during the week-end. Matching leather elbows are authorized .
• Underclothing . Nothing prevents you, if you are a chilly person, from wearing a tee-shirt and even Damart. For all : cotton pants, striped, hearts, pea of all marks (Eminence). For the sybarites, underclothing out of silk ( ).

• Pyjamas . An immense majority of BCBG sleep naked. However the pyjamas exist and do not resemble track suits.
• Socks . Burlington must be apparent! Dark socks with a town suit. The white ones are reserved for tennis and the blacks for evening clothes.
• Ties . Hermès and Gucci are plebiscited for their silk ties. Paisley or animals pattern ties are bought at Hilditch and Key, Berteil, Old England or .

• Belts . Old preferably, they will be made out of leather, crocodile or braided rubber band with a leather tip (navy-blue, green, Bordeaux) of Charvet.
• Glasses with mounting (kind) turtle scale .
• Ink-pen . The great Mont Blanc ! Meisterstück : A hand made pen out of 18 carat gold, encrusted with rhodium, a metal from the platinum family.

• The lighter . Dupont plated gold or dressed in China lacquer. A must for smokers !
