THE
WARDROBE OF MRS BCBG
|
|
The majority of women BCBG scrupulously takes the
advice which lavishes to her the preceding generation
since its birth. She will inevitably wear, during
the day, a gray pleated or dark blue skirt or a
kilt, a shirt maker with open collar and a cardigan(or
a twinset) with sticking clear and flat moccasins
shoes.
More
refined woman BCBG will be able to make the share
of the things. From the same basic elements, she
will dare the colors sharp, will be dress with trousers
and will vary the accessories with the risk to follow
the fashion (by far).
Its
haircut will be always signed by a great hairdresser.

THE PANOPLY
- The
plain pleated skirt grey, dark blue, beige
or Scottish.
- The
Scottish kilt. It will be selected among most
traditional. Original tartans (Mc Gregor) are
snuffed, but there is many colours corresponding
to none of the Scottish clan (Burberrys, Berteil).
- The
Linked straight skirt of the same colour than
the pleated skirt. Less practical in the day for
taking care of the children.
- Pullovers
and waistcoats. They will always be dark blue
or will matched with the kilt. Maybe also with
colours pastels: yellow, sky, pink (In Scottish
wools, Benetton).
- The
turtleneck only authorized with a collar of
pearls and the Hermès scarf !
- The
woman shirt will be white, with stripes or
in Liberty. For the most sophisticated, one of
the many models with flange of Figaret or Renato
Nucci.
- The
woman suit. Well crossed and strict with jacket
and straight skirt out of tweed, with rafters
or in shetland. The velvet collar is an appreciated
alternative (Harrison, Barnes, Berteil).

- The
single-breasted blazer as for the man, pass
key, it is useful throughout the year, particularly
in spring or autumn. Perfect to make shopping
or dining downtown.
- The
raincoat Burberrys is strongly advised but
it is however less imperative than for Mister !
- The
loden cloth. It is as essential as the collar
of pearls, the Hermès scarf and the Céline moccasins
shoes.
The loden cloth is green for the country ones
and dark blue for the town ones (Franck & Fils,
the Small Sailor, Berteil, Mettez, Burberrys)
.
- The
Jean. Seldom carried unless to arrange, do
the housework, to move or take care of the children.
It is completely incompatible with high heels
and/or a fur coat.

- The
coat. A beige frock coat in hair of camel
or dark blue with a velvet collar for the most
sophisticated.
- The
fur coat. It will be bought after 35 years
or be an inheritance (beaver, mink or astrakhan).
Around 50 years, Mrs BCBG will have to choose
between coat of mink or cruising on the Nile !
- The
country dress forms integral part of BCBG
's wardrobe. It is multi-use and will make it
possible to feel comfortable in the Normand countryside,
just like on the boards of Deauville, hunting
in Sologne or in Alsace for the grape harvest.
The panoply must be complete and will include:
A divided skirt, preferably green-loden (Put),
a matched pullover or cardigan , sticking of wool,
a shirt maker in Viyella or Scottish (Berteil,
Old England
), tweed hat (Hemisphere, Berteil, Put), moccasins
shoes or Wellingtons, at the rigour trousers out
of velvet or Scottish (Scapa of Scotland) with
Weston boots, true Austrian jacket (Put, Maison
of Loden) and a loden cloth.

Evening
dress
- "
From great evenings, all jewels outside, dresses
of great dressmakers, make-up and hairstyle sophisticated,
to a small party in friends place out of long
skirt and shirt maker, all the alternatives are
allowed. For the majority of the BCBG, a dressmaker
or a friend will carry out the selected and adapted
model retained in the fashion magazines, Marie-Claire,
Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle or Marie-Claire,
unless she does bend herself.

Sports
gears
- Mrs
BCBG will make a sport or will make some !
For tennis, we have too much to choose from, Dorotennis,
Lacoste or Tunmer. For the ski, Mrs BCBG will
choose according to her capacities, if she badly
skyes, her dress will be even more discrete! The
jogging is not essential !
